Senior Account Manager –Amazon Business UK

After a successful US launch in 2015 and reaching a $10 billion annualized run rate in 2018, we are now taking this strategy into our other geographies around the world.

Amazon Business Marketplace launched in 2017 in UK to meet the business purchasing needs of commercial, government, education and non-profit customers of all sizes worldwide. Today, Amazon Business is loved by diverse customers ranging from the largest companies in the world to sole proprietors, using experiences designed for desktop, mobile, to smart shelves. We are focused on building solutions to enable B2B customers to discover, research, and buy products and services from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions, delivering everything they know and love about Amazon, for business. Our B2B customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer and thus we have to reinvent everything including the invoicing experience when buying from marketplace Sellers ensuring we are providing the right customer experience.

The position is based in the United Kingdom

Amazon Business Marketplace is one of Amazon EU’s fastest growing businesses. The successful candidate will be the senior account manager responsible for the growth and success of Amazon Business Invoicing Products. The Senior Account Manager will report directly to Country Head of UK Amazon Business marketplace. The role of a Senior Account Manager (SAM) in the Amazon Business (AB) 3P UK is to own and deliver the invoicing goals for the EU5 marketplace. The Senior Account Manager will be operating as an individual contributor, however drive the program co-ordinating closely with Account Managers in the AB Existing Seller Recruitment team. The role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with product management, recruitment, global PMs and executive teams to bring products and programs to life and improve adoption with Selling Partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and set region and market-level goals for Invoicing coverage that support overall organizational goals.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams, developing EU5 go-to-market plans for invoicing products and creating mechanisms to track and audit progress of EU5 teams. Ensure appropriate coordination and communication with relevant business and cross functional stakeholders
- Co-ordinates the right programmatic set-up including for our latest invoicing product
- Work with and support Account Managers on large, complex strategic accounts on activation of invoicing solutions
- Partner with other product and program managers across B2B to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years in business development, client servicing, account management in a relevant industry
· BS/BA degree; business administration, accounting or tax preferred, with specialization in business development and working with large accounts
· Demonstrated history of strong customer focus in an online B2B environment
· Ability to prioritize and understand constraints in both customer (&Sellers) and Amazon terms
· Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done
· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
· Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment
· Experience driving continuous improvement in programs that positively impact the Customers
· Excellent analytical and data-mining aptitude, coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record of being able to learn, develop and implement new technologies, ideas and initiatives·
· Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
· Strong problem solving, highly analytical, attention to detail and solid organizational skills
· Experience working with remote teams
· Demonstrated ability to manage Senior stakeholders from diverse functions
