DESCRIPTION

Do you want to build your skills in marketing and sales for long term career growth? If so, come build the future working with the SAP on AWS business. You will have the opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS solutions for SAP across AWS’s most strategic customers. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the SAP sales motion, which includes; identifying SAP customers & opportunities, qualifying & building pipeline, and driving SAP on AWS discussions with customers along with the existing sales teams. Establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be part of the team responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption.

We are looking for a talented customer obsessed, enthusiastic, and energetic builder to join the SAP on AWS team for a 6-12 months internship based in London to engage with AWS new and prospective customers in EMEA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Work as part of the SAP on AWS team to:
o Build a stronger AWS leads database by interacting with customers by phone, email and/or live chat, and researching existing AWS leads to create a detailed view of the customer’s need for cloud technology.
o Educate customers that are at the beginning of their cloud journey, advancing them from warm or little interest to active interest; education to consideration.
o Nurture leads with tailored messaging to increase customer understanding of AWS services and our unique differentiators with relevant customer use cases.
· Through nurture efforts, create higher value leads resulting in improved conversion rates.
· Work closely with Sales stakeholders to achieve campaign goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Have a desire to become a technology sales professional: An interest in technology and how it can be applied, preferably with some form of prior sales experience.
· Currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. Applicants from a related discipline with a strong grounding in Computer Science will also be considered.
· Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and Enterprise Application systems, preferably SAP
· Have a desire to become a sales professional within a technology selling environment
· Clear, concise, and confident communicator in-person, written, and via phone.
· Have a basic understanding of negotiation principles whilst doing the right thing for customers.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts audiences in fluent English.
· Proficiency in English. Additional languages will be a plus.
· Must have ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions.
· Ability to think logically and structure answers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to deal with ambiguity.
· Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast.
