Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Location/s: Hook/Reading

Please be aware that our Hook Office is being re-located to Reading, Green Park during Q4 2019.

Salary: Negotiable

Our Business Sales Support team are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to support our Account Managers who work within a multi-£m market sector dealing with Wholesale, Public Sector and Enterprise customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring governance to all business orders, managing sales engagements and order requests, setting up new accounts and new users, managing day to day queries, customer portal administration and delivering training to all users of our internal portal.

What you'll be doing

Learn and demonstrate an understanding of the Virgin Media Business product portfolio including process, pricing and systems.
Manage all quotation requests and use appropriate tools and resources to provide quotations to customers and account managers in accordance with process and agreed service level agreements.
Raise orders on FORCE and dispatching to the relevant work queues in force via action items
Co-ordinate and work within a “virtual” team (Account Managers, pricing, finance, bid management) on sales opportunities
Manage communications to customers and sales, provide alternative quotes when required and updating systems and documents on acceptance
Support with the production of pre-contract documents and attend weekly team meetings and other meetings as agreed by your manager

What we're looking for

As you would expect we will support you with on going career development and support throughout your journey with Virgin Media. To make a success of this role, what we need you to bring to the table is outstanding administrative or sales support experience (preferably within the Telecommunications / IT industry), be able to work on your own initiative, whilst providing strong attention to detail, and be resilient in your approach to data accuracy and integrity.

You’ll also need to have excellent communication skills, be someone who is able to prioritise daily tasks, along with processing a good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Internet applications.

Finally, if you are extremely organised, thrive when working to tight deadlines and enjoy being part of a great team, then this is the job for you.
