Sales Support Administrator, Telecoms, Milton Keynes, £25,000-£28,000. This is an outstanding sales support/account manager opportunity to join one of Milton Keynes most established telecoms and communications providers. This client specialises in providing high tech communications devices to a number of small, medium and large business customers, public sector and not for profit organisations. This company are looking to expand their national footprint and are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Support Administrator to catapult future growth. Previous experience in the telecoms industry is not required but is desirable. This is an incredibly varied sales, sales support and project management role. The role is an exciting combination of account management, inbound sales, administrative support, co-ordinating the field sales team and sales co-ordination.

To succeed you will be a rare individual that is an efficient, organised professional yet is a strong enough character to be assertive when the need arises. Working in a presales capacity to fully understand the needs and requirements of potential clients you will be a positive, friendly personality that is articulate and likeable. You will set yourself high personal standards and have the confidence to handle inbound enquiries, understand client needs to provide appropriate product literature and close inbound calls into face-to-face meetings for the field sales team. The role will also require you to become fully conversant on the products, so you will be the kind of individual that enjoys being a 'sponge' for information and is naturally inquisitive and likes to be seen as the 'expert', or oracle of knowledge, within a business!

To succeed you will be an individual with a sales or internal sales background that is highly efficient, organised, enthusiastic, proactive, confident, intelligent and articulate with an analytical mind. This client is looking to hire immediately with start date commencing ASAP.

This ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-4 years sales or sales support experience;
  • Previous account management experience;
  • Have a passion for sales and developing relationships;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Solid knowledge of M/S Word, Excel and Outlook is required and some understanding of a CRM package (Act, SalesForce, Goldmine for instance) or other Business Contact management system would be a definite advantage.
