Job Description

We’re looking for experienced sales professionals to join our talented Risk product sales team, based out of our London office, in Canary Wharf. In the role of Risk Sales Specialist you will be responsible for new business sales across both new and existing accounts within your assigned territory. The role forms part of our Corporates Europe business and will partner with major Financial Institutions and Corporates, many of which feature in the FTSE 500. About the Role

In this opportunity as a Risk Sales Specialist, you will:

* Manage a territory covering a Financial Services sector, which includes a portfolio of approximately 100 existing customers, focusing on the Thomson Reuters Risk products which include the Regulatory Intelligence and Compliance Learning services
* Drive new business and build a strong sales pipeline from targeted outbound activity, networking and referrals to meet/exceed annual target.
* Feedback valuable market and product intelligence to our Product and Proposition teams
* Actively engage in the sales process by collaborating with your peers, partners and the wider business to drive both individual and team performance.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Risk Sales Specialist if you:

* Experience working in the Financial services sector and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance.
* Have extensive experience driving new business - proven success of lead generation, pipeline development, up selling and cross selling within complex, online content and/or software product
* Proven negotiator at C Suite level, with strong opportunity qualification & client needs analysis skills
* Strong sales presentation and proposal building skills
