Business Development Manager – Nationwide

Salary - Starting basic £25,000 + Commission 

Job Description

Are you a successful Sales Representative with a proven track record of business-to-business selling of capital equipment within the drinks industry? Are you looking for your next major career challenge? Are you looking to step up your career with a growing company that has exciting prospects? If so, then this could be the job for you

Core Equipment Ltd is a major supplier of equipment to the drinks industry in the UK, Ireland, America and Europe. We sell to juice producers, wineries, breweries and distilleries as well as food processing facilities. In recent years the business has grown considerably and as a result we are now looking to expand our Sales Team to continue to develop future sales and increase our presence in the market.

Reporting to the Managing Director and National Sales Manager your duties will include:

  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to identify new business opportunities
  • Win new business through developing relationships with new and existing customers
  • Follow up on existing leads
  • Self-generate new enquiries
  • Attend customer sites to showcase the equipment portfolio
  • Make face to face sales
  • Produce high quality, accurate quotations
  • Assist customers in the selection of equipment
  • Maintain a progressive sales pipeline
  • Liaise with internal departments to increase productivity
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and conferences
  • Demonstrate equipment

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a professional sales environment
  • Experience working the drinks industry preferred but not essential
  • Computer literate
  • Personable
  • Well Organised
  • Highly motivated
  • Customer focused
  • Results driven
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Clean Driving Licence

The role is predominantly field based, with National travel however there is an expectation to attend the UK Headquarters in Daventry on a weekly basis. A full benefits package will be available to the right candidate including company vehicle, incentive/commission scheme, laptop, mobile phone and pension scheme.
