Turtl is a growing London-based technology business which develops and sells a SaaS marketing software product to large enterprise customers such as Cisco, The Economist and Bloomberg.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join our team.

The opportunity …

Selling our service to different divisions, departments and territories within existing Customer accounts, as well as to prospects requires not only skilled Customer Success and Sales staff, but also support from an SDR. 

Researching our Customers and prospects so we understand their business issues, objectives, management structures and can identify the staff we should be talking to is paramount to our success. Along with helping to set appointments with early stage opportunities these are the primary tasks the Sales Development Representative. 

To fit in at Turtl you’ll be a self-motivated, confident, articulate and business savvy with a mature telephone manner and good research skills.

Key responsibilities ...

  • Undertake telephone and desk research on Customers and prospects to better understand both the organisations issues / objectives and the departments / staff we should be targeting to sell Turtl
  • Set appointments for Customer Success / Sales Managers to meet new Customers / prospects
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Coordinate telephone/email contact with Customers and prospects with marketing activity to ensure targets are receptive to your advances
  • Carry out daily prospecting of key material to focused audiences
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on your activity
  • Meet challenging targets for research and appointment setting
  • Uphold the values and cultural ethos of Turtl in all dealings internally and externally

The experience, skills and qualities you will need for this include …

  • Experience of working as an SDR and hitting call targets / success measures
  • Good research skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to understand and articulate a complex product set to senior marketers as if you were a senior sales professional
  • Strong listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Ability to be a real team player, always happy to put the team and business first
