This a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, sustainable packaging manufacturer as a Sales Representative covering South Wales and North South West.

Our client is a leading, gloal Manufacturer of Sustainable Packaging to the FMCG industry.

Description

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving profitable achievement of sales objectives, retaining and developing existing customers and seeking out new business opportunities in South Wales and North South West.

The Sales Representative will take a solution-led approach to nurturing existing relationships and driving new business opportunities in the region, maximising the opportunity for volume growth and profitability. The successful candidate utilise their experience of managing a large account base to effectively map out customer journey plans, and build trusted advisor status with their clients in order for both organisations to meet their mutual objectives.

The Sales Representative will regularly travel to ensure exposure in the market, visiting customers and attending trade shows as necessary. The successful candidate will participate in in the definition of new customer search strategies, prospect for new business opportunities and determine their potential.

The successful candidate will fulfil management guidelines in relation to price/margin policies, conditions and minimum order quantities, preparing reports and monitor forecasts regularly.

This role is field based covering South Wales and North South West.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in account management and new business development
  • Have a background in Industrial Manufacturing
  • Have a solution sales background
  • Have Field Sales experience
  • Have a proven track record in managing large numbers of accounts
  • Have strong time management skills
  • Be a self starter
  • Be well-versed with regular reporting and forecasting
  • Have a demonstrable, strong commercial acumen
  • Be degree educated
