Role

The
UK Sales Support Team (UK SST) is a UKI Exec sponsored initiative which aims to
increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our business development spend and
improve the overall proposal management capability of the UK practice. The team
achieves this objective by providing the Operating Groups and Growth Platforms
a wide range of high quality standardised service offerings from Credentials
Harvesting to end-to-end Proposal Management, enabling the sales teams and
subject matter experts more time to spend developing tailored and
differentiated solutions and managing the relationships with their clients.

The
UK SST provides a single point of contact for proposal support for all
Operating Groups and Growth Platforms in the UK.

The UK Proposal Analyst is
responsible for planning and managing activities and stakeholders required to
deliver high quality proposal responses. The primary focus for this role will
be on low-medium complexity sales deliverables.

What responsibilities will
you have?

Proposal and Workflow Planning

·
Creates, manages and maintains the proposal development schedule (The
"Proposal Response Plan") with minimum guidance / inputs from Bid
Manager / Sales lead.

·
Collaborates with the CSG Bid Manager in planning, resourcing, and
reviewing proposal content.

·
Collaborates with Bid Manager to determine, assign and communicate
proposal authoring roles and responsibilities for the specific sales
opportunity.

·
Maintains understanding of sales strategy as it evolves and develop
methods for capturing and integrating the strategy into the proposal response.

·
Defines and agrees proposal response design working with Marketing and
Creative Services teams, where appropriate.

·
Creates and communicates proposal response outline structure (chapters /
sections).

·
Determines Colour Team Review schedule and agree and communicate roles,
responsibilities and expectations of reviewers.

Proposal Delivery

·
Leads day-to-day proposal management activities, in accordance with the
workplans, schedules, quality standards, milestones and deliverables.

·
Manages and supports Proposal Authors to develop non-solution proposal
content to meet quality standards and timeline expectations.

·
Manages Proposal Authors to identify company-level content (including
fast facts, proof points, credentials and case studies) to meet quality
standards and timeline expectations.

·
Integrates solution / technical content from Solution Architects and
other subject matter experts to ensure consistency, clarity and readability of
messaging throughout the proposal response.

·
Coordinates input / support from Creative Services for proposal
development activities.

·
Prepares production-ready files and arrange and oversee proposal
production and packaging.

Document Management

·
Manages all proposal documents and the flow of information to and from
proposal participants, including the proposal SharePoint site or Bid Team PMO.

·
Supports the Content Manager in creating and maintaining a central
document repository of proposal responses for further content harvesting and
reuse by UK SST.

Stakeholder Management

·
Coordinates activities between local and remote resources providing
and/or reviewing proposal content.

·
Coaches Proposal Authors in writing and reviewing techniques (where
appropriate).

·
Manages and supports Proposal Authors to develop non-solution based
proposal content to meet quality standards and timeline expectations.

·
Manages Proposal Authors to identify company-level content (including
fast facts, proof points, credentials and case studies) to meet quality
standards and timeline expectations.

·
Manages all internal communications and status related to proposal
response development and delivery.

Quality Management

·
Develops and communicates author / reviewer guidance for the
opportunity, including writing style guides and templates, glossary of terms,
and compliance and readiness checklists.

·
Collaborates with Solution Architects and other subject matter experts,
to understand and align content and messaging with proposed solution throughout
proposal response (RFP deliverables only).

·
Ensures proof points, assertions, tables and graphics are client centric
in style and consistent with content and messaging.

·
Develops and manages the Proposal Compliance Checklist to ensure
compliance with client requirements and protocols, internal Accenture controls
and sales methodology.

·
Develops and manages the Proposal Evaluation Criteria Matrix to map
scoring methodology to proposal response sections and support internal scoring
process.

· Establishes and implements
appropriate version control and phase containment of proposal content and
ensure agreed review actions are implemented.

· Acts as an independent reviewer
conducting first level review of content ensuring the agreed win themes and
value proposition are reflected throughout proposal response
