As the Sales and Operational Planning Manager you will be pivotal to the commercial success of the UK business, leading the planning function for the UK & Ireland Region. This is a highly strategic role which presents an exceptional opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to scope, shape and influence the future of the UK business within a global organisation.
With a strong focus on change leadership you’ll drive your team and the business forward in the continuous development of the integrated business planning process through full cross functional alignment and the implementation of the S & OP process. You will have full accountability for the overall bottom up demand plan as well as accountability for the UK & Ireland inventory plan covering all Ferrero manufactured products – ensuring the right balance between product availability and optimal product freshness.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Ferrero family, networking and building great working relationships in order to secure exceptional inbound service levels as well as being accountable for driving value adding supply chain relationships and outstanding performance with key external customers.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of operating at a senior level within a supply chain or commercial marketing role. You’ll possess a deep understanding of FMCG market dynamics along with strong commercial acumen, fluent in balancing volume and value metrics. You will have a proven track record in developing an S&OP / IBP process model – ideally from concept to ‘excellence’. Powerful influencing and great leadership skills will be crucial to your success, as will your natural aptitude for problem solving, negotiation, coaching and planning skills.
