The primary focus of this position manages support functions essential to sales productivity. These include planning, reporting, sales process optimization, pricing control and ownership of territory and account management. Working with the Sales and Branch Managers to deliver the targeted levels of performance

Main responsibilities

  • Assisting the UK Sales Director with the overall strategy for the UK Business.
  • Lead the Sales reporting functions
  • Lead enhancement plans such as Pricing and ancillary rates
  • Lead and develop all Sales systems primarily Salesforce, CPC and SAP
  • Work alongside and support the Sales and Branch Managers to develop Business plans for each location
  • Owns the maintenance and accuracy of accounts (Customer Hierarchy and Account Management)
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to validate profitability of each Customer
  • Produce Sales Forecasts and establish future trends to aid Business decision making
  • Track the markets both at a national and local level and identify opportunities for growth
  • Lead Sales process improvements to benefit both our Customers and our Teams
  • Delegates and empowers their team by setting clear objectives to achieve desired results
  • Motivate the team, praise and positively reinforce the right behaviours and good performance
  • Regularly and effectively presents and shares information with the team to ensure that they understand the Company’s values, goals and results
  • Leads by example and creates a culture which reflects our Company values

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Passionate about consistently exceeding the expectations of the customer and lives our Customer Charter
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly desirable for this position.
  • Business specific knowledge of what Mobile Mini hire/sell.
  • Excellent analytical skills and high degree of business acumen. Able to understand, interpret and use economic and other data to help guide our sales team.
  • Confident presenter who is able to clearly communicate the strategic goals
  • Experience of the construction and/or rental industries would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organization skills and accuracy
  • Skilled in MS Office package especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • A degree would be desirable
  • Strong IT skills and be familiar with SalesForce or similar CRM tools
  • Flexible and must be prepared to travel within the UK
  • Full clean driving licence
