The Sales Manager role will be focused on generating revenue and income for the business through their LCHO scheme by providing outstanding service to client while remaining commercial and ensuring targets are met. All of this will be encompassed by working towards the values of the business.

Client Details

My client is a leading National housing association. They provide homes through a range of, rental, shared ownership and open market homes. They currently have a growing LCHO program focused on new and resale properties

Description

The Sales Manager - LCHO Main responsibility's include

  • Supports the Head of Low Cost Home Ownership Sales on all sales activities.

  • Leads on the delivery of the sales programme and the delivery of assets converted for sale to shared ownership.

  • Day to day management of Sales Executives to drive sales performance.

  • Works collaboratively with other managers from project inception through to completion, including close working with the Private Sales team on mixed tenure sites.

  • Leads on the appraisal of new shared ownership and other low cost home ownership opportunities, including visiting sites, conducting market research and reporting findings.

  • Close working with the Development team in relation to new site opportunities, in addition to design and specification related matters.

  • Supports the Sales Executives to convert sales leads to reservations.

  • Leads on ensuring low cost home ownership sales achieve the required sales rates, turnover, and profits.

  • Works collaboratively with the Marketing Manager in relation to specific scheme marketing.

  • Represents the organisation at sector specific meetings, sales shows/events and awards.

  • Works collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to drive sales.

  • Maintains the highest standards of excellence in service provision and best practice.

  • Supports the Head of Low Cost Home Ownership Sales in checking all low cost home ownership applicant eligibility and sign offs within regulator and funding criteria to audit and governance standard on all aspects of the sales process.

  • Supports on optimising value through commercial sales strategies.

  • Support on sales activity reporting on performance including budget reporting.

  • Leads on low cost home ownership sales related invoice processing including council tax and utility bills on void units.

  • Supports sales related procurement.

Profile

The Successful Sales Manager - LCHO have the following skills:

  • ideally has a background at management level overseeing a low cost home ownership sales operation with a track record of successful delivery including sales from plan.
  • Alternatively from an estate agency background with a good understanding of housing associations

  • Experience of working with developers, house builders, consultants, and agents.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills, both oral and written to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Experience of meeting sales and financial targets.

  • Role models strong leadership and has personal integrity and credibility and a proven ability and desire to collaborate with colleagues.

  • £45,000 equivalent day rate
