POSITION: Sales Manager - International trade magazines
SALARY: Realistic OTE is in the region of £50-60k.

Our client is a multi-media service company to two niche industries, and are seeking to recruit a sales manager for two of its international trade magazines.
Selling advertising space into two internationally respected trade magazines and their websites.
Making daily telephone sales calls and sending emails to potential and existing clients to generate new business and acquire new clients to increase advertising revenue.
Handling incoming enquiries from clients and marketing agencies.
Sending out general email, HTML and postal marketing materials, advertising quotations, media packs and general correspondence to clients.
Sourcing and contacting potential new advertising clients from the company’s extensive database records, industry trade shows, catalogues, publications and show visits.
Researching, building and maintaining relationships with new clients and existing accounts.
Planning approaches and working to develop proposals that address the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
Work with senior management in the setting of targets, including your own, and for other sales staff.
Taking and leading monthly sales meetings.
Identifying new opportunities to increase sales revenue company-wide across all titles.
Working closely with the editorial team to increase both editorial and advertising input.
Day-to-day management of the sales office in the absence of the sales director.
On-site management of exhibition stands, stand staff and local translators.
Deputising for the sales director in his absence as and when required.
Assisting with general marketing department activities and other administrative duties within the sales and marketing department.
Liaison with other sales and editorial staff to maintain and increase the magazine’s reputation.
Due to the nature of their worldwide customers, some flexibility in working hours may be required.
Opportunity for international travel.
Previous experience within advertising and media sales.
Proven track record in sales.
Excellent organisational skills.
Good written and spoken English.
