Role:

This is a fantastic vacancy that represents a unique opportunity for a top sales leader within the SaaS space! Our client is an embryonic business that has recently been acquired by a sizable, cash-rich organisation which is now looking for a strategic ‘player-manager’ who can build and grow their practice and implement a strategy to take this company forward! Initially, you will join as an Account Manager with your sole aim being to retain the existing customer base. After 6 months, you will transition into the role of Chief Revenue Officer, focussing on new logo acquisition and ultimately growing and managing the entire sales function. There is also the opportunity to progress even further into the role of CEO (as the role evolves, the benefits package will too). Ideal candidates will be those that have had experience in building sales operations from scratch and have a proven track record of creating ‘go to market’ strategies’. It helps if you possess a “process point of view” approach coupled with experience within all areas of sales (team management, business development, account management and customer success). Our client will also find eCommerce experience especially appealing.

Candidate Skills Required:

- Demonstrable sales record   

- Built sales operations from scratch   

- Excels in business development, account management and customer success  

Candidate Skills Beneficial:

- Understands eCommerce platforms/programmes that integrate with ERP

- Sold into Commercial sector
