This is a brilliant people management role with Smarttplay, a well-funded software house that sells tools into design agencies, marketing consultancies, web development agencies, content agencies and PR agencies.

Smarttplayis a provider of proven, highly effective online marketing applications that use intelligent technology to significantly improve client's online customer targeting and results. Using Smarttplay tools can really help digital agencies, web developers and PR firms deliver faster, more accurate and better ROI results for their clients.

To apply to Smarttplay, we need someone that must have sold products into digital marketing agencies, or has sold digital marketing services and understands the industry sector. The role also requires sales leadership experience as a Sales Team Leader, Sales Manager or Sales Director.

Regrettably, without either digital marketing sales experience, or people management experience, your application cannot be considered.

Due to expansion, we are looking for an exceptional candidate for this Sales Director Designate role. The role needs a true sales leader that is experienced in recruiting, measuring and motivating sales teams and has a proven record of increasing sales income.

To apply, you will have at least one-year year's experience leading a proactive outbound sales team. Also, your experience must have been within the broad 'creative industries' and be a hands-on sales leader that is willing to make sales calls themselves.

To succeed, you will be very commercially and sales aware, happy to lead by example and used to setting and managing by measures and key performance indicators. You will be an ambitious and financially motivated leader that wants to be part of a business for the long term and motivated by increased earning potential.

You will be a natural sales mentor with a reputation for taking sales staff to their next level. Currently, it is a small sales team of three with the plans to grow this to eight throughout 2020. The products are sold SaaS either in modules, or as a full package, and are attractively priced. As such, if they are pitched to the right decision-makers, then cost is never an objection.
