Sales Manager, Digital Marketing Software, Cardiff, £40,000 Basic, OTE £50,000 uncapped. This is a brilliant people management role with a well-funded software house that sells tools into design agencies, marketing consultancies, web development agencies, content agencies and PR agencies.

Due to expansion, we are looking for an exceptional sales leader experienced in recruiting, measuring and motivating sales teams and has a proven record of putting strategies in place to increase sales income. To apply, you will have at least one-year years' experience leading a proactive sales team that has a modern social selling approach to business development.

To succeed, you will be very commercially and sales aware, happy to lead by example and used to setting and managing by measures and key performance indicators.

You will be a natural sales mentor with a reputation for taking staff to their next level. Currently, it is a small sales team of four with the plans to grow this throughout 2021. The products are sold SaaS either in modules, or as a full package, and are attractively priced. As such, if they are pitched to the right decision-makers, then cost is never an objection.

The role requires a hands-on sales driver that leads by example and manages by measures yet has a collaborative and relaxed management style. The company have grown by getting every member of staff contributing to strategy and enjoy low staff attrition. However, as the business grows, they understand there will be a greater need to formalise processes. Your role will be to sustain the balance of improving results while retaining the collaborative and entrepreneurial culture that binds the company together.

* You must have at least two years experience in a sales management role and ideally understand digital selling concepts such as referral selling, inbound marketing, insights selling and trigger selling.

* You will be strategic, well planned, organised and used to getting the best possible results from budgets.

* You will be hardworking, credible and possess excellent IT knowledge. You will enjoy using CRM systems and analysing data to spot opportunities and improve effectiveness.

* Your style will be one that encourages, supports and promotes 'buddying' and getting the staff to work and support each other to ensure that goals are achieved.

* You will be of graduate calibre, well presented, intelligent, articulate and have solid numerical skills
