The Sales Manager UK - Defence, will be focused on Technical sales in to Defence contractors, system integrators, MOD and direct to end-users. Ideally Naval experience would be preferred.

They are a rapidly growing manufacturer, operating in a global market. The UK buisness delivers the extended sales and support capabilities for the entire Group into the UK and Ireland. Services include sales and marketing, project management, technical support as well as a comprehensive test and repairs facility.
As the the Sales Manager UK
You will be responsible for the achievement of orders, sales and gross margin targets in line with the Company's continuing drive to grow the business. The work involves managing existing customers, accounts and prospects as well as finding new opportunities and building new relationships. We engage at the very earliest stages of solution definition, often helping the customer recognise the limitations of his existing capabilities. Given that input, our responsive and quick turnaround design and manufacturing teams enable our standard products to be quickly modified and customised to the specific needs of the customer's solution.

In this role, you will spend a significant proportion of your time talking to customers and end users alike to understand their current capabilities and their desire and need to move forwards. You will work with them and our own technical team to define and propose solutions to their current problems. Whether you are offering individual product solutions such as our 19"/2 modular electronics product portfolio into mounted or dismounted solutions, or our broad range of fully ruggedized, fully customized and certified displays, laptops and tablets, or our handheld tracking solutions, you will have the freedom and flexibility to define whatever simple or complex electronic system solutions your customers need.

Once we are confident that you have learned all that you need about our products, our processes and our spirit, we have nothing against basing you wherever is best to meet the needs of the role. The role is available immediately and is full-time.
Circa £55,000 base + 20% Bonus + package
