Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Canning Brett

Salary: Competitive depending on experience + Car + Bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Xandor Automotive supply both the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. We design and develop high quality plastic components, assemblies and systems, including exterior and interior (painted and unpainted) and functional black parts. We also supply equipment for air conditioning systems, power assisted steering, active ride suspension and oil cooling.

The Role:

We're currently looking for a Sales Manager to grow existing accounts and win new business accounts within the metal clips and fastening business in the Automotive and other sectors.

Key responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Divisional Sales and Marketing Director and the General Manager (Canning Brett), refine the existing growth plan with clear targets for growth in existing accounts as well as identifying new business opportunities
  • To develop excellent links with the existing Sales and Marketing team within Xandor as well as the Design Team based from Leamington Spa in order to share market intelligence and identify opportunities
  • To develop personal relationships with key buyers/decision makers with existing customers and targeted organisations
  • To ensure that all business processes for quotations and contracts are consistent with existing business financial controls and authorisations
  • To hold master classes or similar within Xandor and/or within external businesses / exhibitions to demonstrate our expertise and capabilities
  • To develop sales literature (paper and electronic) to showcase Xandor's business capabilities
  • To report on meetings and progress as required

The Candidate:

  • Automotive ideal - but not essential as opportunities exist in other sectors
  • Must understand the fastener and clips marketplace
  • Sell is a technical one - so basic understanding of metallurgy/material properties and how fastenings can be manufactured using multistage tooling is essential
  • Market place is UK (initially)
