The Sales Manager will be the primary focal point of all sales related activities within the Engine Cooling for the European market.

Client Details

World leading manufacturer across multiple market that include: Automotive, Power, Marine, Defence, industrial, O&G.

Established over 100 years ago with 2000 employees. They are at the leading edge of quality within engine cooling systems.


The overall aim of this role is to grow revenues and profit through detailed and thorough definition and execution of the Sales Strategy and in line with the overall Business Plan. This role is part of a small Sales team based in the UK and requires a very close working relationship with Engineering, Applications, Operations and Global sister sites that manufacture engine products.

The Sale Manager will:

  1. Develop and execute a Sales Strategy to drive significant additional revenue from new and existing accounts.
  2. Responsible for knowing the market and help in identifying data and knowledge to support the sales strategy.
  3. Business development of new opportunities, including identification and development of new customers, relationship building, and securing initial business; management of target account process; development of new markets, new sales channels, or new applications.
  4. In conjunction with Applications and Mechanical Design resources support regional and global brand requirements
  5. Develop and evolve sales propositions that fit the needs of our customers
  6. Margin target attainment through the management of accurate costing information and tools; and disciplined margin/price application in adherence to established Pricing Policies
  7. Build and communicate consistent, accurate forecast information weekly, monthly and quarterly, giving the S&M Vice President excellent visibility into pipeline and key deals.
  8. Meet and exceed sales targets
  9. Must adhere in supporting the company's customer relations management tools ( system)


The Sales Manager will have:

  • Track rrecord in winnig sales through technically led sales cycles selling to manufacturers and OEM's across Mobile, Fixed and Marine sectors. (Industries include: Automotive, Powre Gen, Off- Highway and Marine to name a few)
  • Experience of working in similar industry with engines knowledge
  • heat transfer experience would be advantageous
  • sales / account development and management experience required
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Plex or a similar ERP system

Job Offer

£60,000 base + Car + Package
