Sales Manager - £30,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience), OTE £50,000+ – Oxford

The Role

Oxford Global is looking for a Sales Manager to join a committed team and contribute to the continued growth of the company. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Company’s Portfolio Directors to grow sales across all Oxford Global events and to maximise the effectiveness of the sales team.

The successful candidate will take ownership for sales campaigns over several events. There is also an opportunity for progression to team leadership. Oxford Global are looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic individual who is results driven and client orientated, with a proven ability to motivate their team and their colleagues.

The key responsibilities of a Sales Manager include, but is not limited to:

  • Personal responsibility for sales across 3-4 events a year, with a monthly target of 25k for first year within the role
  • Demonstrate strong pipeline management and forecasting abilities, delivering regular performance reports to Directors
  • Grow and develop new business opportunities and maximise account development
  • Assist in new event launches and growth of existing portfolios
  • Train and recruit new team members when required

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Sales Manager:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ B2B experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ management experience
  • Proficiency in new business/lead generation and account management
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the energy and drive to lead a team to achieve sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of managing a pipeline and using CRM tools
  • Proven ability to consistently hit personal sales targets
