About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Manager’s key responsibility, as an essential member of the team, is to play a key role in the delivery and administration of the sales programme.
You will ensure the effective sales and marketing for new homes for sale delivered through our Development programmes, work with the development team to influence specification of homes and development opportunities and play a key role in the delivery and administration of the divestment programme.
You will ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all stages to customers for shared ownership purchase, resale, and right to acquire and lease extensions and ensure that sales administration and reporting is in line with the associations agreed guidance and procedures.
To be successful in this position you will have management experience, including proven management skills, both strategic and operational, across multi-disciplinary teams and knowledge and experience of the sale of affordable housing and new build homes in a wide geographical area, including the Homes England Policies and processes. You will have knowledge of property development process and ideally hold a relevant professional membership.
You will be competent in the use of Microsoft office systems including Excel and Word, be able to produce accurate and concise reports and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You may have experience of the following: Sales Manager, Senior Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Head of Sales, Business Development Manager, Account Management, Business Development, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Housing Association, Housing Sales, Estate Agent etc.
