JOB TITLE: Sales Manager – Industrial Automation
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HOURS: Full-time 36.25hours
SALARY: up to £50k Basic + Bonus

THE ROLE: Sales Manager – Industrial Automation -Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
The Sales Manager role is a new role within the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to drive the business forward. The overall purpose of your role will be to use your sector-specific expertise to develop new industrial automation business outside of the existing core market of the Newspaper printing industry.
You will be looking to build relationships and develop new business in sectors such as Food & Beverage, Packaging, Metals, Utilities, Warehousing/Logistics and Automotive dependent on your previous experience.
You will typically work on projects in the £50k - £1m range and will also look after existing customer accounts to ensure their requirements are met.
The role is based in Milton Keynes although there will be flexibility to work from home on occasion.

In addition to a competitive salary of up to £50k Basic salary + Bonus and car/car allowance this position comes with a 26 day (+ 8 statutory) holiday entitlement and a contributory company pension scheme (4% of salary employee minimum with 5.25% of salary by employer after successful completion of the probationary period)
Responsibilities of the Sales Manager to include:
Identifying potential customers and generating new business within automation market sectors’
Grow and Maintain customer contact through regular face to face meetings including extensive national and potentially some international travel
Understand the automation market sector, current and future trends to ensure the business is aligned and focused in the right direction
Work with the Sales Director UK to review development paths, market strategies and business relationships
Monthly reporting of orders, prospects and account development
Work with engineering team to develop customer-driven solutions
THE CANDIDATE: Sales Manager – Industrial Automation -Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
The successful candidate for the Sales Manager (Industrial Automation) role will have knowledge of PC/PLC and a range of drive technologies (Rockwell automation preferred but not essential) .
It is key that you have previous experience in a specific sector such as Food & Beverage, Packaging, Metals, Utilities, Warehousing/Logistics or Automotive to assist the business moving forward. We are looking for 5 years previous experience. You will be self-motivated with the drive to source and grow potential clients.
Essential Criteria for the Sales Manager (Industrial Automation)
5 Years experience
Experience in a specific sector such as Food & Beverage, Packaging, Metals, Utilities, Warehousing/Logistics or Automotive
Full UK driving licence
Within a reasonable driving distance of Milton Keynes
Knowledge of PC/PLC and a range of drive technologies
