Successful UK Company have an opportunity for a Salesperson / Sales Engineer to sell their market leading range of MAP (Modified Atmospheric Packaging) Production and Quality Control equipment to the Food & Beverage sector as Sales Manager.

SALARY: Up to £50,000 + Annual Bonus c£10,000 Uncapped


LOCATION: Working from home, covering UK and N.I

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Leicester, Huntingdon, Bedford, Milton Keynes.


As Sales Manager you will be working from home and reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for selling the Market Leading range of MAP (Modified Atmospheric Packaging) Production & Quality Control Equipment to the Food sector, including: Meat, Fish, Poultry and Fish processors across the UK & N.I

Your role will be divided (50/50) between key existing customers and supplied leads, as well as new business generation.

Order values vary from £2.5k - £100k and will average out at c£5k - £20k with an annual target of c£250k - £300k.

Although working from home, you will be part of the whole team, including Service Engineers and Customer Support people. With this in mind you will be expected to spend one day per week in the Cambridgeshire based Head Office working and liaising with all departments.

This is very much a Consultative sale and as such, attention to detail and listening skills are of paramount importance.

In return for your experience of selling to the Food sector, you will benefit from full and extensive product training.

REQUIREMENTS – Sales Manager

You must have experience of Equipment sales into the Food & Beverage sector.


Small (12 staff) privately owned & profitable business that has been growing at 20% p.a in recent years and will have sales of £2.5m+ in 2017.
Based on southern edge of Cambridge, we specialise in the sales & subsequent support of MAP production and quality control equipment for the food packaging industry and quality assurance equipment for the general packaging/print industries. We have a reputation for excellent customer service and as a trusted supplier.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Sales Engineer - Process or Packaging machinery and equipment, Packaging,
