Sales Executive - Sales Academy

Type of role: full time permanent

Location: London

Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30

Holidays: 25 days

Overall purpose of the job:

Our academy has a proven record of producing high-calibre sales professionals, many of whom have gone on to have successful careers including leadership combining Sales and IT Technical training from award winning external training providers and the brightest in-house thinkers; our 13 month programme will teach you how to qualify leads, make cold calls, negotiate and close deals and provide you with a strong understanding of the company and IT industry - everything you need to hit the ground running.

You will work closely with previous success stories from the Academy Programme now working in sales management and senior corporate sales roles.

* You will be responsible for selling the Exponential-e portfolio of products and services to companies that may not be currently customers of Exponential-e

* To work with direct / channel sales teams to develop leads / accounts and increase revenues in line with set targets and business objectives

* To identify, qualify and develop new target channel partners or prospects

* To participate in lead generation activity and call out campaign days

* To provide support to the field based channel account managers by providing quotes and supporting call-out days.

Key responsibilities for this job:

* Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers

* Attending face to face meetings with potential clients

* Competently and knowledgably advising clients on Network solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of client needs

* Negotiating pricing with clients to achieve sales in line with Exponential-e's pricing policies and client requirements

* Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales, along with regular activity reporting

* Ensuring that sales and KPI targets are achieved

* Work on the full sales cycle, supported at all times by relevant mentors and dedicated internal resources

* Working on sales campaigns to increase market share, raising awareness of the Exponential-e brand and technology

* Achieving personal and career advancement goals in line with Exponential-eā€™s Academy Development Programme

* Activities outside of normal work hours may also be required

Desirable knowledge and experience:
