Sales Executive - New Business

Our client is currently recruiting for New Business Sales Executives who will be responsible for the support and sale of products over the phone within an assigned territory to new customers using a range of business tools.

This role is an ideal opportunity for candidates who want to develop and progress within a reputable company.

Sales Executive Responsibilities:

• Contacting businesses throughout the UK to promote our client's range of fuel cards.
• Fully explain features and include benefits of their cards.
• Maintain clear records of Sales Activities.
• Manage potential lead generations.
• Deal with a wide range of prospects in a professional manner.
• Track/Monitor competitors’ goods/prices/sales.
• Ensure a quick turnaround of enquiries and delivery of services.
• Manage each account for 6 months.

Sales Executive Requirements:

• Telesales experience an advantage.
• Hard working and self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Team player.
• Organised
• Customer focused.
• A quick learner with the ability to think on your feet.
• Pro-active
• Multi-tasking
• Enthusiasm, determination and tenacity
• Work well under pressure.

Successful candidates will be given full training on sales techniques and full product base along with full account management training.

They are a leading, independent fuel card provider in the UK, offering competitive rates on diesel and petrol fuel cards for your business. Shell, Esso, UK Fuels, Texaco, FuelGenie and Key Fuels are all on offer, as well as supermarkets and other brands.

Location: Southport, Merseyside PR8 4HU

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00 per year, and generous uncapped commission structure (OTE £27,000)

Benefits: basic salary in addition to a competitive commission structure and 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, access to an EAP through an Employee Benefits Schem.
