Sales Executive, Account Manager, Power Tools.
£35,000 + Uncapped OTE + Bonuses + Car + Benefits.

Manufacturer of power tools require an Area Sales Manager to manage the network of tool distributors across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire and surrounding area.

With an account base of over 200 tool distributors, engineering distributors and machine dealers this is a 95% account management and account development role introducing new products, training distributor staff and supporting distributors to win larger projects. A high emphasis of the role is managing and motivating the distributors to sell your products over the competition together with providing manufacturer's support to the distributor's sales reps out 'in the field'.

With field sales experience, ideally in the tools market you will be a sales professional that genuinely seeks 'win-win' partnerships for long term growth alongside your distributor network. Applications are welcomed from field sales staff working for a tools distributor looking to work for a manufacturer.

As a person, you will be enthusiastic, positive, organised and have a reputation for being upbeat and cheery. This is a relationship-based sale and the company deliberately steer away from relying on 'selling from a catalogue'.

With excellent marketing support and innovative products this manufacturer has a solid reputation for decent equipment at a keen price. Occasionally the sales can be technically complex as you will be the hinge pin between the distributors' end user client and your technical support staff. Therefore, some technical experience, perhaps starting your career as an apprentice engineer, would be beneficial.

As a person, you will be honest, trustworthy and credible with immediate gravitas and the ability to quickly gain the respect of your client base.

With full P&L responsibility you will be given the support, training and leadership to ensure great success and job satisfaction.
