Sales Executive

This full-time position with a respected local news company, will be working with local businesses advising them on their advertising requirements both in their portfolio of printed products as well as their online platforms. The benefits are access to Nest Pension, 25 days holiday, paid sick leave. Commission for sales.

Sales Executive Responsibilities:

To meet and exceed sales targets by:

  • Identifying, approaching and developing relationship with new clients.
  • Continuing to develop and strengthen relationships with current clients.
  • Understanding client needs to deliver sales including appropriate medium- and long-term advertising solutions, both print and online.
  • To achieve agreed standards of performance, to include KPI’s such as minimum calls/contacts per day, average yield, average order value etc.
  • Monitor your territory and the client media activity, keeping abreast of developments within the marketplace.
  • Acting as part of the broader team for the benefit of the organisation as a whole.
  • Adopting the company culture, ‘can do attitude’, motivated, reliable, professional, patient and flexible.

Sales Executive Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be confident, motivated with good communication skills and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Some sales experience is essential.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines is also essential.
