Sales Executive – £50,000+ depending on experience – London, UK

The Role

Prodigy Snacks are looking for an experienced, skilled and motivated Sales Executive with proven ability of meeting and exceeding targets with a minimum two years’ experience in the FMCG sector. You will be designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands the Company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious company planning to revolutionise the snacks industry.

The key responsibilities of a Sales Executive include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing relationships with buyers and distributors, bringing new business to the Company and increasing business revenue
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Presenting sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team, whilst meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly and annual targets
  • Organising sales visits to demonstrate and present our products
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Reviewing sales performance
  • Negotiating sales and distribution agreements

 The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Sales Executive:

  • A positive, confident and determined approach with the ability and desire to sell
  • Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation skills and a good level of numeracy
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambition, resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team, capable of flourishing in a competitive environment
  • Can use ‘out of the box thinking’ to come up with creative solutions to problems
