The Company: A family run company established over 100 years ago. They operate in a number of market sectors namely Retail, Scientific laboratory and Industrial (predominantly H&V). They are a manufacturing company who have built a reputation of quality and service and supply customers both home and abroad. You will be joining a small team of dedicated sales professionals which offers an exciting challenge to sell into varied market sectors.
The Role: With a focus on targeting existing accounts the new Sales Executive will be calling on both National and International customers in the market sectors within which the company operates. You will be expected to manage current customer accounts and identify new business opportunities.
The role will require a significant amount of travel - initially UK-wide, with potential overseas travel later.
Graduate level of education is preferred.
The successful individual must be able to work equally on their own or as part of their closely knit team.
Confidence at selling at all levels is required.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in field sales.
- Previous experience in selling to Industrial distributors, ideally within the H&V sector.
(Although desirable it is not essential as full training and support will be given).
- it is essential that the applicant lives within close proximity to the Head Office in West Cumbria, as they will be expected to work in the office when not travelling
