Our client is looking for a new Sales Executive to join their rapidly growing team in their City of London office.

Client Details

Founded in 2009, they provide an online education platform for the performing arts. They have 3 million students in over 1300 schools, colleges and universities across 65 countries with unlimited access to over 900 full-length productions and educational resources.

Their aim is to make art available for everyone by using the power of technology. They work with over 50 world-class theatre companies, industry associations, practitioners, teachers, examination boards and scholars to:

  • Record live performances in outstanding quality

  • Virtually take students behind the scenes

  • Provide customised and essential education material

This exciting new business role would suit someone who has an interest in theatre/drama or English lit, and who is used to shorter sales cycles.

They're rapidly growing their commercial team in London, so they need someone who is able to perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Description

The new Sales Executive's role is to sell the online platform (subscriptions) to heads of schools, universities and colleges around the globe.

The responsibilities will include

  • Prospecting and bringing schools, colleges and universities on board by effectively using a sales pitch, demo and close

  • Cold/warm calling prospects

  • Use Salesforce and CRM efficiently

  • Successfully meet targets and deadlines

  • Take initiative to convert leads into winning business

Profile

The ideal Sales Executive

  • Has 1-2 years telesales experience (ideally selling into the education sector)

  • Has a background in or a good understanding of performing arts and theatre/drama

  • Has experience in demoing an online/cloud based platform

  • Degree in a type of art would be desirable but not essential

  • Can work towards set targets and KPI's successfully

  • Has excellent telephone manners

  • Articulate and well educated

Job Offer

  • Salary of £27-35k per year (based on experience) + commission (OTE £40-45k)
