As we drive forward the continued impressive growth of our agency we are looking for a superstar Sales Executive to join our business development team in London. You will be responsible for flawless execution of our lead generation campaigns, prospecting and nurturing relationships and securing meetings with key decision makers at prospective clients.

You will support our management team in London to identify and build intelligence on new business targets. You will identify opportunities and secure meetings with new business targets through outbound marketing, events and networking. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Working with the UK management team to devise and implement marketing activities that drive lead generation
  • Outbound contact with prospects and clients
  • Liaising with colleagues and suppliers as appropriate
  • Competitor and client/prospect monitoring, analysis, evaluation and recommendations
  • Setting up credentials meetings for the relevant division head / MD and ensuring we collect a complete brief, including all pitch-process deadlines, budget details and total number of agencies pitching
  • Due to Diffusion’s strong reputation and marketing efforts to date, we receive a significant number of incoming leads. You will be responsible for replying and qualifying these leads as efficiently as possible
  • Working closely with the management team to ensure all marketing and sales collateral is up to date and relevant

To be considered for the role you will need:

  • To educated to degree level
  • To have at least 12 months experience in selling either marketing, technology, consumer or business services to brand-side/PR contacts
  • Diffusion is in the communication business, so you need to be a highly articulate speaker and a great writer with obsessive attention to detail. You’ll need to have an excellent telephone and email manner
  • To be a great listener. Able to identify and discover what a prospect is looking for from an agency, their pressure-points and be able to sell in a consultative way
  • To be extremely proactive, organised, responsible, and proven ability to work well with a team
  • The ability to make contact with prospects to sell Diffusion’s experience and set up meetings
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • To be interested in Diffusion’s clients and industry niches
  • To be a demonstrated self-starter who thrives in a team environment
  • To have a strong desire to succeed and progress your career to the next level
