THE ROLE: As Sales Engineer for this growing business, our client is looking for a professional to develop the UK and Southern European States. Selling a high-end range of engineered surface treatment solutions and products, your remit as Sales Engineer will be to manage a base of accounts, both end users and distributors, in order to increase sales revenue. This is an exciting role, focused upon developing relationships with distributors both in the U.K and abroad - you will be given responsibility with regards to identifying new distributors overseas also.
THE PERSON: The role of Sales Engineer will need you to have sold into OEMs or via distribution. Dealing with process engineers, design engineers and maintenance engineers will be second nature to you - ideally with experience of back selling via the distributors. A mechanical engineering background is preferable but not a pre-requisite for this position. The most important thing for our client is the experience of selling into manufacturing, process and distribution abroad.
