Sales Development Representative

(£22,000 - £26,000 + commission)

About Eave:

Eave is an award-winning technology company changing hearing conservation in heavy industry through smart protective equipment. Driving Eave is the mission to eliminate the isolation and loneliness caused by preventable hearing loss, the most common occupational disease in many countries. To achieve this we develop game changing products that enable our customers to protect their workforce operating in hazardous environments.

A bit about the role:

We’re thrilled to be looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our multidisciplinary team. Reporting into the Head of UK Sales, you will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.  You will strategically target project-based leads from a variety of sources including construction projects from new and existing clients developed through outbound sales as well as sourcing links in new markets. You will be responsible for building the sales pipeline, before working with the sales team to develop the opportunity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers

  • Identify target projects through industry databases

  • Proactively reach out to leads to generate appointments

  • Understand and qualify prospects’ business goals to determine if Eave can be a strategic investment for their business

  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM

  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

  • Improving lead generation and targeting process and strategy

A bit about you:

You’re an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You’re great at establishing and building rapport and really getting to understand our customer’s concerns so that you can effectively transfer them to our Account Executives. You’re proactive and positive and truly interested in sales and selling. We’re still a start up so being resilient and flexible is also really important as we regularly evolve as a business.

Other criteria will include:

  • Relevant work experience

  • Excellent phone and written communication skills

  • Strong IT skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated

  • Ability to critically evaluate processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and adaptable environment

  • Experience in outbound sales development techniques

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com

Please note that this list is not exhaustive or prescriptive: if you feel you have the skills and experience to make a success of this role, then please do get in touch!

Just one more thing:

We’re based in Old Street, London in a WeWork building so can benefit hugely from their dog friendly offices, access to Gymbox and onsite wellbeing initiatives, free breakfast and beer and prosecco taps. We hold regular company socials and all our permanent employees are invited to participate in our EMI Options scheme: we want you to feel like you’re a valuable part of our success. We’ve also recently hired a new Head of People and Culture who has been tasked with implementing a new benefits package for our team so all good things to come!

Eave actively encourages underrepresented applicants: if you need any assistance or additional information or support with applying, then please contact Alys Martin (Head of People and Culture).
