The business development role sits with a truly innovative business who are fast becoming one of the top provider for Cloud infrastructure. They already have established markets in Europe and are now looking to build on the UK market. They already have a strong senior enterprise level team in place and are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join and help compliment this thriving team.

Description

The role of the Sales Development Representative will be to assist the business with lead generation and new business development. Your role will be to research relevant markets to find potential prospects. You role will be to qualify these prospects and pass successful ones over to the relevant People to follow up on.

Your main metric of success will be calls made and amount of leads generated/appointments booked

  • Qualifying leads for account executives to work on and follow up

  • Dealing with incoming enquiries

  • Researching relevant markets and mapping them out to develop business

  • Cold calling relevant contacts to open up sales opportunity's

  • Working closely with marketing to compliment there external communications

Profile

The successful Sales Development Representative will need to be able to function well within and small team and have the initiative to work on their own. You will also need to have a can do attitude toward business development and lead generation.

Other skills necessary to be considered are

  • Previous background in lead generation or telephone based sales

  • Previous background within the software or SaaS sectors will be a major advantage in your application

  • Background within small start-up businesses

  • Strong telephone manner with excellent business development skills

  • A focused attitude to building new business

  • University educated

  • A mentality to take on a challenge

Job Offer

The successful Sales Development Representative will receive

  • £26,000 salary

  • 20 % Commissions

  • 4 month contract to perm

  • Opportunity to progress dependant on performance

  • Flexible working
