THE COMPANY: This exciting organisation offer a range of bespoke and tailored histology solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech and CROs. They have a large share of the UK market place and have developed an excellent reputation in the last 10 years.

THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager, you will be promoting a range of histology services used within preclinical drug development and research programmes, including human tissue, biomaterials and biofluids. This role will include national travel, but regular customer visits will be required around the Oxford/ Cambridgeshire area. You will be liaising with research professionals across pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research organisations.

THE PERSON: The successful candidate will have experience in selling a service into pharmaceutical, biotech or contract research organisations. You must be confident in building business with a longer, slow sales process and have a really good understanding of the route to market and the key customers involved. Those who are consultative, organisation, driven and a team player will do very well here.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Basic: £40,000 to £60,000
  • Bonus: 10k monthly commission
  • Car: Company car scheme or car allowance
  • Benefits: Pension, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats

Location: This role covers a national remit but will include focus on Oxford, Cambridge, Luton, Reading, Milton Keynes, Bedford, London and Northampton.
