Due to continued expansion, they are seeking suitable candidates for the position of Sales & Marketing Assistant at their Redditch office. This is an opportunity to join a busy team working for a well-established local business.
Responsibilities will include: - Supporting the commercial team in various marketing activities - Assist in the planning of social media activity - Analysing and cleansing company marketing data - Provide day to day support to the sales team - Processing customer orders through the company website - Generate sales through various marketing medium - Customer support via telephone, email and social networking - Respond to sales enquiries for both retail and wholesale customers - Processing customer returns and organising supplier repairs - Assist in the preparation and execution of trade exhibitions (some weekend work required) - Occasional warehouse relief - picking/packing of orders, receiving supplier deliveries and stock taking
Requirements of the Marketing Assistant: - Excellent attention to detail - Strong organisational skills - Good written and verbal communication - Ability to work on own initiative and with little supervision - Confident using MS Office - Some weekend work will also be required in order to support company conventions.
Desirable but not essential: - Design experience (Photoshop, etc) - Social Media management - Google Ad-words knowledge - Previous telesales experience - Experience with Sage Accounts software
Working hours are 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility necessary during busy periods and company convention commitments.
