Our client is an online marketplace specialising in unique furniture with character. Having partnered with over 700 carefully selected independent boutiques and dealers,our client is able offer Britain's greatest online selection of vintage, mid-century, antique, upcycled and contemporary design furniture.

How you can expect to spend your day:

* Mapping professional dealers and retailers of vintage, antique and contemporary design furniture

* Identifying new channels to increase dealer registrations and collaborating with the marketing team to test new lead generation strategies

* Signing up new dealers to the platform through directly approaching them (cold calls, cold emails, visiting their stores)

* Engaging the Sellers you manage throughout their journey and ensuring they have a personable and professional experience every time they interact with you

* Becoming an approachable and trusted advisor to the Sellers you manage and advise them on their inventory and best practices to maximize their sales and customer satisfaction

* Developing a deep knowledge of your Sellers’ needs and pain points to provide feedback and suggestions on the company platform and collaborating with the Product team to solve these issues with tech

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

* You absolutely love networking and meeting new people, and you consider talking to strangers and cold calling effortless

* You are approachable and can adapt your communication style to a varied range of people and situations

* You have excellent presentation and communication skills (in writing, over the phone and in person)

* You are persistent and will not take “No” for an answer

* You have a positive, ‘can-do- attitude

* You are able to work independently and effectively

* You have a customer-centric approach and are obsessed with delivering excellent service

* You are pro-active and inquisitive and are constantly seeking to know more about your sellers, market and competitors

* You demonstrate a solid track record in new business development, account management or sales in a startup environment, or in the furniture industry (at least 1 to 2 years)

* Previous experience within, or a demonstrable affinity for the furnishing industry.
