Right
now we are seeking a tenured Manager to integrate in the local Risk Management
team. In this challenging and rewarding role you will work closely with global risk colleagues and global/local business partners in marketing, finance, technologies, legal & compliance and our global services network.

You will be responsible for day-to-day project management of initiatives, as well as for driving strategic thought leadership as we work to successfully contribute to profitable growth for consumer risk business in France and the Netherlands.

In this pivotal role we will also look to you to drive the following :

* Analyzing and developing credit risk strategies for
underwriting & customer management for France and the Netherlands.
* Generating actionable insights by undertaking both new
accounts underwriting and portfolio analysis.
* Reviewing, maintaining and developing policies,
controls and models, while ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
* Identifying opportunities in risk systems, processes
and procedures and driving actions to address these opportunities.
* Partnering with icss teams in new product and service
development ensuring adequate support for business growth and profitability,
while applying consistently credit policies and promoting adequate
understanding of risk policies and decision making tools with business
partners.
* Constant partnership with the icss risk management
centers of excellence.
* Partnering with credit operations teams to implement
credit strategies and optimise existing credit processes.
* Leverage and adapt best practices from other emea
markets (where appropriate) in order to deliver superior processes and
strategies for France and the Netherlands.

Principal accountabilities for the role will be :

Strategy development:

* Provide risk management expertise and market knowledge
in the development and execution of underwriting , new products development and
customer management strategies .

Decision logic:

* Provide local market expertise to devise and implement
enhanced underwriting logic and policies.

Capabilities development:

* Represent risk management in underwriting and new
product capabilities development, including requirements gathering, PDP participation, system testing, and quality monitoring. Manage lines of
communication with all lines of business to ensure timely and quality
capabilities implementation.
* Represent market risk team on customer management
strategy development with risk COEs and GCA.

Qualifications

Required skills:

* Proven ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data
leading to practical and effective business strategies.
* Strong project management and project execution skills.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Strong communication skills, partnership and
influencing abilities, and the creativity, motivation, and vision necessary to
translate business strategies into reality.
* Ability to motivate local as well as geographically
diversified colleagues and business partners located in London, Gurgaon, New York
and Phoenix.
* Knowledge of underwriting and customer management tools
and processes.
* Scientific, business or economic degree.
* Superior analytical skills utilizing sas and excel.
* Risk management background in strongly desirable.
* Knowledge of WCC, GNA.
* A track record of solving problems and
implementing solutions.
