About the role
Working within our fantastic Cardiff office, you’ll sell LV= Individual Pension and Investment products over the telephone to a panel of Financial Advisers.
This is a sales role & you’ll predominately make outbound calls to your panel of Financial Advisers. You will provide the Financial Advisers with knowledgeable and factual information about LV= Individual Pension and Investment products. You’ll therefore, keep your product and industry knowledge up to date, so you become their trusted consultant and go to person.
You’ll develop relationships; building strong, trusted and sustainable partnerships with your panel of Financial Advisers, ensuring you provide value added service to enable them to recommend LV= products to their clients and achieve your individual sales targets. You will influence, sell, & handle objections so that the Adviser recommends LV= products ahead of our competitors. Your technical knowledge of the Pension’s landscape will set you apart from the competition.
You’ll be working 35 hours per week between the hours of 9am to 5.00pm (weekends and bank holidays are not a requirement of this role) the role comes with a competitive base salary, a quarterly sales bonus and study support towards professional qualification. You’ll work for a lovely company with some very lovely people!

First and foremost we’re looking for someone who has experience of working within the personal pension, drawdown and investment bond arena. You’ll come from a financial services background and have knowledge of the Financial Adviser / Intermediary market, and preferably had recent experience of managing a panel of IFAs and delivery of associated sales targets.
We’d ideally like you to have a relevant professional financial services qualification (such as; FPC 1, 2 & 3 or CF1 to 5 or equivalent) although this is not essential. It’s more important to us that you have the desire and commitment to work towards this as part of your own career development, enabling you to present yourself as a retirement industry specialist. We will support your study and development in order to achieve this.
You’ll have excellent telephone communication skills, the ability to build long lasting relationships and be an influential person. You’re hands-on, proactive and determined to be the best when it comes to knowing your stuff, selling products and exceeding your individual targets. You take initiative, pride in your work and are very well organised. You’ll love nothing more than working as part of a team and independently you’re just as confident. You instinctively know what you need to do and when in order to do your bit to achieve a team goal. You are driven to deliver your call activity KPIs and sales targets.
