Hammonds, UK's largest choice of fitted furniture company requires a Retail/Sales Manager to join their team, working 38 hours per week (will include weekends) based in Fairacres Retail Park in Abingdon. We are offering a salary of £10.00 per hour plus benefits, commissions and incentives.
Hammondsnow have 100 showrooms nationwide and continue to grow, which means we need more people like you to help promote our top quality fitted furniture from our new flagship showroom opening soon in Abingdon which will display a variety of our bedroom, home office and kitchen ranges.
We believe in offering every customer the same superior quality of products and services and due to our on going commitment to our customers we are seeking a naturally engaging Retail/Sales Manager who has no fear of striking up a welcoming conversation with any prospective customer and to search for their undiscovered needs. Indeed, to do this effectively, you’ll relish this part of the job by suggesting howHammonds could transform their bedroom or kitchen space and design.
Having whetted the customers’ appetite of how their ideal room could look, your role as a Retail/Sales Manager is to book an appointment for our expert Sales Designer to visit them at home, who will look and create innovative and inspiring designs that meet and exceed the customers’ expectations.
If you have sales supervisory experience, ideally in a retail / demonstrator environment, this is an ideal opportunity to move up and manage your ownHammondsshowroom. The Retail/Sales Manager is a hands-on, leading by example position – approaching customer’s in-store and engaging them in what our high quality fitted furniture can bring to their life and lifestyle. Managing a small team, your focus will be to ensure they are equally engaging and professional in approach, so that your showroom meets its targets.
In return for your passion, commitment, drive and performance asHammondsRetail/Sales Manager we offer on top of the competitive hourly rate, attractive commissions such as up to an additional £10 per appointment you make, plus some enticing incentives!
You may be currently working as a Sales Manager, Store Manager, Concession Manager, Assistant Manager, etc.
Abingdon is commutable from Didcot, Oxford, East Hanney and surrounding areas.
