We are looking for a seasoned and operationally hands-on Area Manager.
Ideally you will be a commercially focused, inspirational leader, with the
ability to 'think outside the box’ in terms of how you deliver in your role.

Job description

Job Context

We are looking for a strategic and commercially
astute retail leader with strengths in increasing sales and profitability
within a multi-site operation, to join our highly successful retail
team.

You’ll be a valued member of a high performing regional management team,
working with commercially shrewd and insight led individuals as your peers.

Working alongside your Store Managers, you will set the standard in
identifying and establishing inspirational and innovative ways for customers to
connect with our brand and deliver sustainable commercial growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

Primarily you will lead a team of Store Managers, setting a clear vision
for the area and communicating company directions clearly among direct reports
and their teams.

Working closely with your people, you will support and supervise stores
in delivering sales KPIs to ensure sustainable growth within the area.

Take responsibility for driving performance within your area by
implementing a performance management system which support the development of
high performing teams through individual meetings and regular appraisal
sessions.

Apply your understanding of the business environment and objectives to
identify opportunities and develop solutions, while also providing technical
assistance when necessary.

Maintain a clear commercial awareness by researching and analysing
customer and market data to improve retail processes and activities whilst
developing a comprehensive understanding of customer and
market conditions.

Adherence to compliance requirements in all areas of operational
activity, company policies and procedures.

Ensuring that store standards are maintained at the highest levels and
encourage store managers to identify trends and make suggestions to make
improvements to the proposition going forward.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

· Experience within a
