Regional Sales Manager Designate – Brick & Cladding Facades

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Designate - Brick & Cladding Facades

Industry Sector: Metal Cladding, Brick Cladding, Rainscreen, Brick, Facades, Renders, Terracotta, Glass, Ceramic, Metal and Stone

Area to be covered: Central London

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 basic salary £60,000-£90,000 OTE

Benefits: 3 Series M-Sport BMW Car or equivalent car allowance & full benefits

The role of the Regional Sales Manager Designate Brick & Cladding Facades will involve:

·        Field sales position, migrating into a region sales manager role after 6 months, selling an independent  distributed range of façade solutions

·        Predominantly selling metal cladding, terracotta cladding and brick cladding facades, but you will also promote; ceramic, glass and other rainscreen cladding systems

·        Currently the team of 5/6 spend 70% selling into architects and 30% into housebuilders, design & build contractors and main contractors, but our client is looking to change this to more or a 50/50 split

·        New business development although you will retain all accounts won and will inherit a few existing customers prior to taking on the man management responsibility

·        Managing the process from specification through to main contractor and ultimately the specialist cladding or bricklaying sub contractor

·        Typical projects will include large scale commercial, healthcare and education buildings

·        Sales target will be to achieve £150,000-£160,000 margin year one

·        Covering central London, post pandemic it will be expected that you may meet up to 5-6 architects or other specifiers a day in our clients central London based showroom

 

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager Designate Brick & Cladding Facades with:

·        Proven track record in construction field sales and specification sales

·        Ability to step up into a man management field sales role within 6 months

·        Must have prior experience of having sold into a mix of; architects, main contractors, housebuilder developers or cladding/ bricklaying specialist sub contractors

·        Versatile trader mentality, ability to mix with bricklayers and also supply chain Directors

·        Knowledge or brick facades, terracotta, ceramic, metal or glass rainscreen cladding systems is not essential

·        Must have sold exterior building products

·        Career stability is essential

·        New business hunger
