Regional Account Manager

You will join them as a Regional Account Manager to foster and grow predominantly existing customers, but also some non-spending potential customers that fit into their TCP by ensuring that they are meeting their full potential and are maintained as loyal customers. Where needed you will arrange face to face visits for the Sales Director, and you will also manage and control stock held in customers premises.

Responsibilities:

• Build rapport with key customers by regular telephone contact, email and other means of communication such as video meetings.
• Ensure that your Regional Area hits target and maintains growth each quarter.
• Contacting new customers / non-spenders with a view to identifying potential and bringing them on board.
• Identify products that the customer is not buying and introduce them to the customer so that spend levels could be increased.
• Demonstrate new products and their benefits, via video meetings, using the marketing tools available, or by arranging a face-to-face visit.
• Deal with any ongoing issues relating to the Key accounts you are responsible for.
• Follow-up on all quotes relating to your accounts.
• Ensure that consignment stock is checked at regular intervals as agreed with the customer.
• Ensure that an order number if obtained for stock used.
• Make sure that replacement stock is despatched to replace stock used.
• Review stock levels on a bi-annual basis to make sure the correct quantities are being held for the usage.

Requirements:

• MS PowerPoint Basic skills.
• MS Excel Good skills.
• MS Word Basic skills.
• MS Outlook Basic skills.
• Sales-I Basic – good skills.
• Intact Good Skills.
• Good grasp of Mathematics and can fully understand their numbers.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Commercially minded.
• Previous experience of Account Management.
• A good understanding of customer services, finance, purchasing, and marketing work and how the departments interact.

Hours: 42.5 per week

Salary: £25,000 basic, OTE 30-32k

Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus your birthday, total 29 days, commission scheme paid quarterly based on gross profit growth on the region (approx.: £1200-£1800 per quarter), enrolment onto the NEST pension scheme.
