Formed in 1993, our client is a leading provider of training and employability solutions. They are a Prime Contractor for the flagship ESF Workless Families programme for the DWP and are also the Prime Contractor for two Youth Contracts for the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
An opportunity has arisen at their Wembley centre for a Recruitment Officer to join them to recruit NEET Young People aged 16-24 for their Traineeships and Study Programme.
A dynamic individual who is able to develop and maintain positive relationships with the full range of referral partners, as well as engage and motivate young people, the successful candidate will maintain and update records of outreach activity, information session attendance, conversions from referrals to confirmed starts and Learner numbers against potential Centre occupancy; providing reports to reflect Centre Recruitment performance against set company targets and forecasts.
Actively participate in Centre morning briefings and other meetings as directed by Centre Manager, you will identify, approach and develop relationships with appropriate and relevant referral agencies including JCPs, Connexions, Local Authority departments, local schools and colleges etc and offer initial Information, Advice and Guidance to potential Learners on the most suitable programme route available to support their progression.
You must also organise and support Information Sessions for potential candidates interested in joining the Traineeship and Study Programmes and keep abreast of changes in the education sector including funding, and the local area including DWP changes.
Candidates for this role must be target-driven and capable of perform against weekly and monthly targets set, be able to produce accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports and maintain spreadsheet and MI system records.
Professional and with strong communication and relationship building skills, you must be able to develop positive, professional relationships with young people with potentially challenging barriers and from diverse backgrounds. Experience of programmes aimed at 16-24 year olds and knowledge and expertise of programme funding would be beneficial for the role.
