Property Lettings & Maintenance Administrator - East London

My client is an established Lettings and Estate Agents based in East London, they have an exciting opportunity for a Property Lettings & Maintenance Administrator to join their friendly team.

The Role Responsibilities

Develop annual service charge budgets and oversee ground rent and service charges including interim and final invoicing and collection.
Approve for payment invoices and ensure that no financial liabilities are committed without adequate funding available.
Ensure reasonable resident issues and service requests are addressed promptly.
Reporting to Senior Management and the Client on the facilities and block management aspect of the portfolio as and when required.
Reading all leases and other documents to understand fully the covenants and obligations required to be performed on behalf of clients, including the management of breaches of covenant.
Negotiating and co-ordinating renewal contracts
Co-ordination of estimates and undertaking of repairs by contractors
Ensuring electrical and gas safety checks are up to date
Tenant referencing and monitoring process via referencing agency
Liaising with Landlords on a range of issues
Preparation of renewal tenancy agreements
Arranging inventories, check in and check out appointments
Negotiating the return of deposits between landlord and tenant (including co-ordination of any repairs, cleaning as required)
Sending EPC instructions via web portal
Carrying out property inspections


5 years’ experience in property management.
To be considered for the role you will have:
Experience working as an administrator/coordinator within the property sector
Good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel is a must
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work well under pressure
