Can you find and solve problems we haven't discovered yet?
Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through thriving small businesses by connecting people to a vibrant, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.
The Pricing & Promotions International team implements and subsequently analyses the efficacy of our promotional strategies throughout EMEA and APAC. As a Promotions Manager, you will be responsible for the management and evolution of all product and order discount-related initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to support all of Groupon's lines of business (Local, Goods, Getaways, and Events) by partnering with multiple functions: merchandising, finance, marketing, inventory, and legal.
By building a pre-qualifying process to help identify which products will be top performers, you will measure the success of all promotional strategies and understand the true impact of promotional activity. Regular monitoring of the market to understand competitors’ promotional activity will also be important. You will have the luxury of building a promotional strategy from the ground up that protects Groupon from being over-reliant on promotional activity in order to maintain weekly sales targets. Focusing on the delicate balance of spending OD on activating customer versus keeping our loyal customers happy.
We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?
