Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

* Experience in Product Management.

* Experience launching fitness/wellness application products.

* Experience in lifestyle coaching.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, User Experience, Engineering, and Product Design.

* Experience defining the product roadmap and vision.

* Experience in consumer product launches.

* Track record of building a consumer product vision.

Through your leadership, you'll leverage your technical expertise to identify setbacks and roadblocks within a project and generate solutions for resolving them quickly, build and manage a product team to recruit the best-suited engineers, and evaluate feedback from support teams to identify product errors and gaps. You'll also work closely with senior Googlers in support of your product.

Wear OS by Google is a mini Product Area inside the Platforms and Ecoystems PA. Our goals are to provide: Users with a great smart watch experience OEMs with differentiators alongside compatibility with other Wear OS devices Our sister team Google Fit a great surface for fitness/wellness experience.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

Responsibilities

* Launch products with the help of other teams.

* Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy.

* Understand customer needs and gather product requirements in order to develop new products and enhance existing products.

* Engage and work closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and a reasonable execution schedule.

* Develop a roadmap which will deepen and broaden the Google Fit app experience.
