As a Principal Business Development Manager- Storage Specialist, you will lead AWS programs in the Specialist team for our Public sector customers in EMEA.

As AWS continues to grow its presence globally, You will assist our internal teams by creating and orchestrating “at scale” programs, initiatives, research, and enablement for our sales and cross functional customer teams.

With the goal of driving AWS platform adoption and helping our cross-functional teams map our capabilities to exceptional customer business outcomes, you will work with key storage services included :
· S3, Glacier, EBS, EFS, FSx (Windows/Lustre),
· AWS Backup,
· Data Transfer/Hybrid Services (Storage Gateway, Datasync, SFTP),
· the Snow* Family (Snowcone, Snowball Edge).
A proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) / sales programs and initiatives at scale with tangible results, are welcome attributes that will lead to success in the role.
In conjunction with developing and executing storage programs you will be supporting our largest, and most strategic sales campaigns.

The role description :
· Setting strategic program direction, as well as oversee tactical execution, of insight based programs and go to market activities with a focus on expanding AWS market share in our top key pursuit accounts, segments, and verticals within the public sector.
· Using your business experience to drive revenue, develop sales programs and identify new markets and opportunities. You would work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers to understand their requirements and turn them into reality
· Partnering with AWS corporate platform services and industry teams to identify workloads that impact our storage services
· A background in mapping the application of technology to customer business scenarios that help our customers understand how to improve their operational outcomes through the use of AWS storage services
· Your proficient verbal and written communication skills will allow you build sales enablement tools, evangelize our platform with our global customers as well as our valued partners.
· Act as a trusted business adviser while deep diving into data, creating high impact programs, and tracking progress while tuning for desired results
· Guide cross functional teams to drive AWS adoption in the key workloads that use the AWS Storage portfolio
· Define, drive, measure, manage and coach on workload focused goals across the business

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Technical business development, strategic partnerships, or product management experience
· Understanding of storage technologies
· Experience with driving an engagement and interact at the CxO / VP level
· Experience working with cross functional team as IT operations leaders, software developers, and infrastructure and applications architects.
· Ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges
· Work fluently in English

Travel across EMEA: 50%
The role can based in Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience selling to large enterprise organizations
· Negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen
· Analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business
· Verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills · Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key
· Experience with cloud computing and or related fields (IT, software, etc) - Experience working with
· MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
· Speak other languages
