DESCRIPTION

Amazon Publisher Services is a suite of cloud-based services that helps publishers build thriving digital business. We are seeking a technology-savvy and customer obsessed business development manager for our Advanced TV team. The Advanced TV team is responsible for building cloud-based advertising technology services that help broadcasters grow their business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join Amazon’s rapidly growing advertising business. You will lead new and existing OTT publisher partnerships and drive the strategy and adoption of our industry-leading publisher solutions that will shape the future of OTT advertising. You will work closely with our broadcaster customers, across a variety of media-facing teams at Amazon. The ability to establish strong customer relationships, collaborate internally and communicate customer needs effectively will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities will include:
· Managing and growing strategic partnerships by cultivating customer relationships and influencing partnerships at the executive leadership level, including senior technical stakeholders.
· Negotiating and executing terms for new OTT customer relationships.
· Establishing and executing APS’ Advanced TV overarching go-to-market strategy in the region and gathering marketplace-feedback and leveraging industry expertise to inform strategy for new APS Advanced TV products & services
· Cross-organizational collaboration with other Amazon teams that engage with broadcasters
· Regular interaction with Amazon senior leadership to provide visibility into new and existing customer relationships

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Extensive experience in a client or partner facing sales, business development, or account management role
· Significant experience negotiating and executing agreements for complex strategic partnerships which involve technology integrations
· Experience in advertising, advertising technology, or media
· Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with linear or OTT advertising
· Deep-understanding of OTT & TV monetization strategies and technologies
· Strong grasp of the rapidly changing TV & Media landscape, especially within Europe
· Track record of understanding customer needs and challenges, establishing executive relationships and influence decisions at the senior leadership level, including senior technical stakeholders
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate succinctly and effectively to any audience
· Technically competent with a strong understanding of OTT and online advertising technologies
· Data driven and “quantitative” mentality with an ability to back up ideas with facts or examples.
· Entrepreneurial self-starter with an inherent sense of urgency to get things done quickly while maintaining high standards
· Successful track record of developing, iterating, and growing new business initiatives
· Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, small-team environment
· Master’s degree in Business or other related field (Not Required)
· Proficiency in German or other regional languages (Not Required)
