To help grow our business through the engagement of new payroll partners, Plane Saver have created this new role.

So, who are Plane Saver Credit Union?

We are one of the largest Credit Unions in the UK. As a financial co-operative, Plane Saver aims to be financial partner for life to our 15k+ members; here for them in the good and bad times, providing savings and loans products and services. For more information about Credit Unions and Common Bonds visit the ABCUL website. 

Plane Saver is owned and operated by its members. As a not-for-profit, any income generated, is used to pay dividends to our members or to fund projects and services that will benefit the community and the interests of our members.   Members of Plane Saver include those who work, or have worked in the transportation, logistics, engineering, and aviation sectors and members of the Armed Forces (Air Force, Army and Navy). 

Plane Saver was voted the Best Credit Union (South) at the recent Consumer Credit Awards. We now want to build upon all our successes and forge ahead to establish new mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant large employers. For more information visit our website. 

About you

You thrive on new challenges, are continuously learning, and enjoy using your initiative to ‘get things done’.  You put your customers at heart of your actions.

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sales and business development capabilities with a strong track-record of converted opportunities
  • Ability to rapidly build credibility with potential partners
  • Exceptional customer awareness and long-term relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability quickly engage with and develop new networks
  • Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills

 Experience Required:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • A background of successful relationship building or client management
  • Solid academic background to degree level or equivalent
  • Full driving licence

 Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working with an industry/sector within our 'common bond' e.g. Military, Aviation, Transport, Logistics or Engineering
  • Working knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Credit Unions
